Nice twist on the scaling theme

Thanks for playing. Glad you had fun! We are working on resolving that glitch but it is proving to be quite tricky to get the collision logic right. Pretty much have to rewrite the code from scratch unfortunately

Happy to hear you liked it. Apologies for the difficulty spike!

Thanks for the feedback! We are aware of this issue and trying to resolve it. Glad you enjoyed the game

Really glad you enjoyed it!

Clean and simple game. Nice theme interpretation. Great work!

Mission accomplished :)

Glad you had fun! It looks like we are following in the footsteps of Cyberpunk 2077 with a rather buggy launch. We'll try not to take 3 years to fix it though!

This is so impressive for a single developer in such a short timeframe! So many options, a clean art style and fluid gameplay. Easy to learn and hard to master. Really well done! Who needs Armored Core VI with games like this?

Nice theme interpretation! Quite challenging

The concept was not as straightforward as I expected from the description. Nice theme interpretation and a decent challenge! It could be nice to have a way of knowing how heavy an object might be before catching it so you can better plan where to place it

So glad you liked it! Thanks for playing :)

It seems a and d are the only controls that work for me, so I'm not too sure what to do in game

Nice to hear from you again this year, Iskander. And thanks for persevering enough to finish the game in its current state! Great feedback. We will probably implement a small delay on movement that will allow the player to rotate on the spot by just tapping a direction. Or alternatively, the speed of climbing can ramp up when holding a direction key.

Congrats on the time of 2 min 32 seconds! My best time is 2 min 6 seconds (but because I designed the map I know a few tricks about which paths to take :P). Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it

Oh right! So sorry, I did notice that but didn't put 2 and 2 together

Glad you enjoyed the concept. Many thanks for the feedback! We are definitely looking at ways of refining the movement to be smoother

Thanks for the feedback! We'll definitely play around with different collision shapes to see which allows the movement to be more fluid. Hopefully we'll eventually get it tuned to really flow with the music. Glad you enjoyed it!

No. That is a great connection to the theme. I just wasn't sure if it was intentional from the description of your game

Space is a perfect setting for a Jam themed about scale. Encountered some interesting celestial phenomena and experienced some motion sickness. Good times!

Unique control scheme that took some time to nail down. Nice! Not sure how it relates to the theme of the Jam though

Never thought such a simple pixel art style could give me an existential crisis... Well done!

Always nice to hear about family working together! Very impressive including PvP functionality

Super cool. I wish I could make pixel art as detailed as that. Best of luck with your future games!

Great artwork! Would be great if you could scale the screen to fit the game window though. Also, it feels like sometimes even when I press the right button, I often miss the note. Maybe I'm just not getting the timing right

How did you make the backdrop? I used AI for ours

Haha it was definitely a challenge to convey the correct perspective. Hope it eventually became clear. Sorry to hear you experienced some bugs with the movement. We are working on some fixes with the collision detection, so hopefully that will help. Thanks for playing!

Cool idea to slow you down as you consume more and grow in scale! But it does make weaving through obstacles quite challenging

The theme of Game Off 2023 is SCALE, which can be interpreted in many ways

For this game jam you may want to say something about how the fruits increase in scale as they combine, so that it is more in line with the theme

For a first attempt this was pretty impressive! The art style is great. The fuzziness and jerky movement do make it a bit challenging to keep track of where you are though. Even so, great double interpretation of the theme. Well done!

Thanks so much for playing! Really glad you enjoyed it :)

Very impressive first game! Great work

Very sleek and innovative mechanics. Well done!

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions! We will look into the collision/sticking issue as well as the endgame screen. Sorry to hear you struggled with the controls. It went through a few variations during development and we settled on what felt most intuitive to us. But standardizing with other top-down games is a good idea

Haha good catch :) The dev team is comprised of 75% Namibians! Glad you enjoyed the game and managed to escape Rover's gravitational pull ;)

Nice story! Could do with a slightly more legible font

Very polished

Lots of potential. Definitely embodies the RNG cliché :)

A very surreal experience. Gave me PS2 loading screen vibes :) Would be awesome to play this with eye tracking!

My ambidexterity/multitasking ability is terrible so my goal became to build the tallest tower on Mars. Nice game!
